rekonq 0.3.0

In this release you can find just a lot of bugfixes over the 0.2.90 one. And also some improvements in documentation and translations. rekonq 0.3.0 is a fantastic starting point for all other features planned. Read about them here

PS: As usual, hurry up downloading rekonq through sf.

And have fun!

rekonq 0.3 beta

In this release we are approaching to what we can call our "first stable" :D We riched full KDE network integration through KIO system, we improved UI and fixed tons of bugs. rekonq works well now with cookies (thanks to imported kwebkit classes) and can use general system setting about proxy and network in general. We also present here a tech preview of a "new tab page", a sort of speed-dial feature.

rekonq improvements from previous 0.2.0 release:

rekonq 0.3 is another step on realizing our secret intents :D. It's not full featured but I think we can start calling it "stable".

PS: As usual, download it here now!

And enjoy!

rekonq 0.2

Here we are, after two beta releases to fixing bugs and let translators work, we have our 0.2 release! In this release we are starting to explore simpler and more beautiful UI (not final yet, anyway), refactoring some code, give a try to webkitKDE and the KIO porting of Qt NetworkAccessManager. As these last thinks seems not yet stable, we decided to go for 0.2 with QtWebKit and just "partial" KIO::AccessManager support, but our eyes and intentions are pointed to the KDE classes.

We also decided to continue development in git (and gitorious), waiting for the BIG kde switch. So, it's us, waiting for KDE. Funny!!

rekonq improvements from previous 0.1.0 release:

rekonq 0.2 seems a really beautiful release and a huge step forward 0.1. Anyway, it is surely NOT (yet) intended for production. Perhaps 0.3 will be. Who knows?

PS: As usual, download it here now!

And enjoy!

rekonq 0.1

This release tags moving rekonq development "inside" kde development. That's because of moving code inside kde svn (playground/network/rekonq) with the i18n support from kde-18n team and a lot of efforts and suggestions from other KDE developers.

We continue anyway our development and management on git (gitorious/projects/rekonq) as we like it and there are "signs" about future KDE movement there.

rekonq improvements from previous 0.0.4 release are impressive:

Last news is that we have from now on a KDE bugzilla account for rekonq, letting so easier managing bugs and feature requests.

As said, 0.1 release is quite "stable", but is surely NOT intended for production.

Enjoy!
